The color rhythms of the landscape of the Blue
Ridge inspire my work as does the luminous sky always visible
over the fields and farmlands. Through the illusion of light and
color I try to evoke the fleeting nature of the sky and
landscape. Through memory and small watercolor studies I attempt
to portray the seasons and poetry that speaks to us in the
landscape.
