20 Cornwall Street NE Leesburg VA 20176
Waterford/Leesburg, Stop #16
I was born and raised in France. That's where I started creating fabric sculptures. America became my home in 1992 and I became a citizen in 2016. My style of sculpture is a combination of character and form. It's easy to see that I am inspired by strong, independent women who have a soft and feminine figure. This seems so natural to me. In a way, it's very French. The materials I use for my sculptures are unusual. I create a strong wire structure that is wrapped in recycled materials, mainly t-shirts. It can withstand nearly any kind of outdoor weather. It is both innovative and tough. And that's very American. Being a self-taught artist has allowed me to merge all those qualities into artwork that is unique and special.
Offering on tour: Unique fabric sculptures. Refreshments.
