Artist Statement

Creative inspiration is just minutes from my door. Loudoun County provides a never ending supply of subjects. And that's why my camera is my constant companion. I don't want to miss any of the endearing farm animals along the way. It's also important to capture the way light effects form and color. I'm always looking for new ways to express what I see. Many of the animals I photograph and paint have their own personality, charm and even humor... my hope is to share that personality with the viewer. What can I say? I'm an animal lover. I share my home some of my best friends... rescued cats and dogs.
