About The Artist…

Largely self-taught, Dan Williams is a realist painter who paints in a meticulous and natural style. He was raised on a farmstead in Northwestern Pennsylvania where he learned to appreciate the rural landscape and its architecture.

Much of the artist’s work focuses on old and historic structures and places, subjects that have been seasoned by weather and time. His landscapes are spare, emphasizing the interaction of man with the environment, while his portraits of individuals, groups and families show people involved in their daily activities.

Dan is a founding member of King Street Studios in Leesburg, Virginia, and exhibits in regional art shows where he has received numerous awards.
