About The Artist… .

Although I have had some academic training in art, my work is best described as folk art. Working mainly in ceramics, I do a lot of custom work, and enjoy the challenge: everything from a Grateful Dead Dancing Bear wedding cake topper to a painting of a horse masseuse with the lady on the table. Lots of my work is one of a kind/original.

Though it shares its life with a home, the studio is light and relatively spacious. Ceramics are done on the kitchen table; bead work is in what would normally be a bedroom. Thanks to Joan Gardiner, I now have my own kiln in a shed out back.

Taking Rt 7 west thru Purcellville, turn left onto Nursery Ave; stay to the right of the stone church; come 3 blocks; turn right onto School St; then immediately right again onto S. 26th. Studio is 4th on left - #331.
