Although
I have had some academic training in art, my work is best described as folk art.
Working mainly in ceramics, I do a lot of custom work, and enjoy the challenge:
everything from a Grateful Dead Dancing Bear wedding cake topper to a painting
of a horse masseuse with the lady on the table. Lots of my work is one of a
kind/original.
Though it shares its life with a home, the studio is light and relatively
spacious. Ceramics are done on the kitchen table; bead work is in what would
normally be a bedroom. Thanks to Joan Gardiner, I now have my own kiln in a shed
out back.
