2020 Western Loudoun Art & Studio Tour

Visual artists can apply online now for the 15th annual Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour.

  • New for 2020: the tour will be advertised as a three-day tour to be held June 5, 6, and 7, 2020.
  • Studios will be open core hours of Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, 2020 and may choose to add a third day of Friday, June 5, 2020.
  • Specific information about hours open and selection of dates is in the application.

Loudoun artists working in all visual media may apply to this juried event. Those selected will open their studios to the public and demonstrate their artistic process to visitors from the metropolitan region. Last year’s tour brought more than a thousand visitors into more than 30 studios and arts centers. Artists connected with a targeted audience, increasing their visibility and providing an opportunity to promote and share their work.

Professional and emerging visual artists whose studios in Western Loudoun County meet specified criteria may apply as Studio Artists. Loudoun artists who do not have a Western Loudoun studio suitable for visitors may apply as Guest Artists. 2D and 3D work will be considered, including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, fiber art, wood, ceramics, glass, metalwork, sculpture, and jewelry.

The deadline for submission is close of business, February 1, 2020, with no exceptions.

All applications must be submitted online through the CaFE online system. The process consists of two steps:

  • Create a free artist profile in CaFE and upload images for work to be submitted to the jury here:
    www.callforentry.org.
  • Search within CaFE for Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour (WLAST) and apply.

Artists may currently have a profile within CaFE; simply search for Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour and apply, having made sure images are for work to be juried for this event.

Three resources are available if help is needed:
