Wood Turning: Lidded Box with Finial
Lidded Box of Cocobolo and Blackwood Finial

Western Loudoun Artist Studio Tour has been a lot of fun since it’s beginning and for the previous 30 years. This will be my last Studio Tour. Many thanks to all of my past customers and friends. At 93, Harriet and I are passing the torch to the next generation of wood turning artists. Our greatest wish is to see the younger artists taking our wood turning art to the next level.

Snickers Gap Stop #28

Directions to Maloney Lathe Works:

On Route 7 West (Harry Bryd Hwy) turn right on Route 601, Raven Rocks Road (at top of the mountain). Watch for 'End of State Maintenance' sign in about 2 1/2 miles. Continue straight into the woods. You will pass a wooden sign which reads 'Maloney/Perintoni' — do not turn off road. Next sign will read 'Maloney' — continue on. The studio is at the end of the road.
